Essex wedding photographers David Islip and his wife Sandra, regularly photograph weddings at different wedding venues throughout the UK from their base in Witham, Essex. They photograph weddings together as a team ensuring that a relaxed, polite and friendly service is maintained, without being intrusive or keeping you and your guests standing around for hours.

They have captured photographs at around 1700 weddings and are both Qualified to Associateship Level in Wedding Photography with the British Institute of Professional Photography (BIPP),which ranks them amongst the best UK wedding photographers. Our base is in Witham Essex we are happy to travel to all areas of the UK to photograph weddings starting from close by, suffolk, Kent, Herts, Cambs. Increasingly we are taking weding photographs in London. Some of areas we have photographed weddings around the UK are Devon, Cornwall, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Dorset, Sussex, Leicestershire, Northumberland, Lancashire. Our furthest wedding photos so far was just outside Edinburgh - 
international wedding photography at a destination can not be too long in being booked! 
As photographers, photographing weddings takes us to some fablous venues, Watergate Bay, Burgh Island, Leez Priory, Fennes, Athelhampton House, Boreham House, Dalhousie Castle, Eastnor Castle, Gosfield Hall, Hedingham Castle, Layer Marney Tower, The Old Kent Barn, Westwood Park, Crabbs Barn, Prested Hall, Parklands, Saunton Sands to name just a few. 
We are creative photographers with a touch of photojournalism and reportage. We love couples who want a bit of fun as well as the classic wedding photographs. We are qualified with British Institute of Professional Photograpphy (BIPP) and The Master Photographers Association (MPA). Some of the main towns near us where we photograph weddings regularly are Colchester, Chelmsford, Maldon, Braintree, Ipswich, Brentwood, Basildon, Southend, Harlow. 
Our photographs are often on display at wedding fairs particularly at the popular wedding venues of Parklands, Fennes, Crabbs Barn, Prested Hall, Layer Marney Tower, Smeetham Hall Barn. Still looking for our first wedding outside the UK! Although some may term us as contemporary wedding photographers we also include classical, traditional, reportage and documentary wedding photographs as part of our package - story telling is probably the best description. 
We photograph many weddings for Brides and Grooms from Colchester, Essex but are always happy to accept clients from Chelmsford, Maldon, Braintree, Romford, Brentwood, Maldon, Halstead, Basildon, Harlow, Southend, Grays or any other town. 
Many people seem to think that we would not travel as far as Ipswich for wedding photography as this is in Suffolk - not true, we travel anywhere for wedding photography. 
There are many great wedding venues around Chelmsford but these are not the only ones there are wedding venues all over the UK, some wich we have photographed at others we still wish to visit for wedding photography. This weekend we have photographed Engagenment portraits for weddings at The Royal Garden Hotel, London; Crabbs Barn, Kelvedon, Essex and a marquee wedding near Bury-St-Edmunds, Suffolk. We have just completed photography packages for a couples who got married at Gosfield Hall, Essex and The Fennes, Essex.
Our discussions for wedding photographs in the last week have been for weddings in London, Essex and Suffolk. Venues have been The Royal Garden Hotel, Fennes, Crabbs Barn, Benton Hall and Stoke-by-Nayland Hotel. Our most recent engagement portrait was at The Naze.
A wedding photo created by us at Priory Hall, Hadleigh, Suffolk has just been awarded an Accolade of Excellence at WPPI (Wedding & Portrait Photographers International) Convention, Las Vegas
We use albums and books from Queensberry in Aukland, New Zealand and Graphistudio in Italy. All books are designed in house so we can effect changes if required. 
This week we have been photographing the new guest rooms at Crabbs Barn for their web site and book.
Today it has been an album plan for a wedding we were the photographers for at Crondon Park, Chelmsford, Essex.

We are proud to be guests at the English Toastmasters Association St Georges Day meeting in Chelmsford where we will be networking with wedding Toastmasters discussing a variety of items and how wedding photographers work with then. 
Just now working on a album for a wedding we photographed at Church and then onto Parklands, Quendon Hall, which is a fantastic wedding venue on the borders of Essex, Herts and Cambs
Well if you saw the 'worst wedding photos' article in the Daily Mail you may start to understand why a skilled photographer is needed to photograph your wedding - it may may not be the cheapest thing on offer but then how often is cheap the important thing.
